Re: Dressing...Oh, Karl?

Gosh, I just said:
"You guys who have a couple boats under yer belts need to broaden your horizons. I know you do not yet have a couple of boats under your belt, but I am impatient."
I MEANT to say "Mac, I know you do not yet have a couple of boats under your belt, but I am impatient."
I also said "you need to..." Hmmm. That was pompous of me, and I apologize for it.
I hope I don't sound like a youknowwhathole on this forum. What I meant was to post heartfelt encouragement to all of you to build your boat so that it beats the thunder out of everything in sight! I mean, your boat probably will anyway, but what if some guy or gal shows up with another homemade kayak? You STILL want to kick butt, dontcha?? Preconceived answer: yes!
To wit: Karl kicked serious kayak-building butt with his sunburst thing so recently, and I venture to estimate that he will forever feel a certain spike of *wholly earned* pride all up and down his spine as a result of the little extra pains he took in bringing it about.
Is it worth it? Hey, t' hell with my opinion... let's ask Karl!
