Please 'glass the decks.

The extra few pounds of deck 'glass is far outweighed by the added durability and impact resistance deck 'glass affords.

There are still a few boats in our display boat fleet, built in the 1995-1998 period, that lack deck 'glass. Some have endured appalling abuse without harm, but some of them have in fact gotten broken, usually when something heavy like another boat is dropped on it. After a few failures we stopped equivocating about deck 'glass and since 2000 have mandated it in all of our kayaks, even the ultralight Pax 18 and 20.
