Re: Skeg on an Arctic Haw
Posted by Howard on Mar 15, 2005
greg,
i have not done it...but if i were too, i would probably go with the retractable skeg kit that is sold by superior kayaks.
on its web site it is offered in a kit form that it says can be added by owners.
it looks like a different approach than the clc skeg kit.....and preserves the lines of the hawk.
i cannot speak to how it actually performs...i was going to paddle mine for a bit to see if i thought it was necesarry to add.
but if i were to need one, at least based on what i see, i would probably go with the superior kayaks kit.
