I recently read in either Outside Magazine or Nat'l Geo Explorer, that there is a company that specializes in shipping gear to meet you at a destination; they are geared towards vacations, etc. but may be able to help you out. Unfortunately, I just spent 20 minutes looking through my old mags, and can't find the name of the company...
