Matt, You're not off your nut at all. That's a great job on the heating tent. Us older posters remember a true "off his nut" builder named Matt - Monterey Matt. He built his yak on the balcony outside his office window. I recall splitting a gut reading his account of a paddle float, self rescue practice - on the lawn.
So you've got some big clown shoes to fill there Matt, if you want to be considered a nutter.
If you do half as well on the boat as you've done on the shelter, she'll be a beauty.
