Why leave in a hull forming bulkhead that negates the function of a "touring sea kayak" with bulkheads and hatches? This would be like seeing a Porsche Boxer with a crash test dummy permanently installed in the passenger seat.
It might have use in the HOV lane but doesn't make any sense if you actually use the car. The effort a customer will go through removing an epoxied in bulkhead is significantly greater than changing the manual.
