Foredeck curvature
Posted by Jon Loraine on Mar 3, 2005
I've got to the stage with my LT17 where I am about to fit the deck to the hull. I can see that the foredeck is required to take quite a complex curve - strongly convex laterally from sheer to sheer (16 inch radius) and concave longitudinally from bow to cockpit. Any tips on getting the deck to take the right shape without warping in a strange way? I don't want to get it all glassed up and then find that I can't get it to fit neatly.
