3 MM hull?
Posted by Kyle T on Feb 28, 2005
Has anyone here ever built a boat with the lighter 3MM plywood that CLC sells? If so were you happy with the results?
I'm just about to start building two S&G tandems of my own design that will be used during a three-day adventure race across the Everglades later this year. There will be a lot of portage involved so we want the boats as light as possible. Since there will be no rough surf nor rock gardens I am thinking about going with the 3MM even though it has to be more damage prone.
Any comments?
Thanks, Kyle T.
