Hi All,

This is a good topic, as we should all probably add some extra protection at bow and stern (heck, maybe along the whole keel). To improve the feathering of the extra layer, is it preferable to lay the strips first and then the full hull glass over them, or will this possilby cause air bubbles along the edges?

I'm getting close to this stage of the build on my second kayak, and am thinking of trying this approach. 6oz strips under 6oz glass.
