Re: Mask before fillets

Mask the outside of the seam before you fillet. The tape will form a dam to shape the outside of the epoxy.
I like to mask between the wires and tab with dabs of thickened epoxy then pull the wires. Then mask the holes and the seam areas that were under the wires. Then fillet and tape. If the thickend fillet epoxy is mayo thick it fills the seam and the holes eliminating the messy putty knife filling process on the outside.
