They held the Lightning Dixie Championships at my parents yacht club for a few years. They are a serious bunch of racers and most of their boats are immaculate. My personal favorite boat that I would like to see in a similar kit form is a Hampton One Design. That boat has beautiful lines and is very fast when heading to windward. When I was racing Flying Scots, we would see them once a year at the annual regatta. I couldn't help but stare in awe when ever one got close. Most of them are wood, but they are now built in 'glass. The design seems like it could be built in s.n.g, and the design is "simple" with a 4 panel hull. John could probably tell if it could be done economically.
