We like our Oly C-700 (older 700 series) with the 10X optical/ 2mp; my sister likes hers too At full stretch (like my old Canon with a 300mm lens), one needs arms of steel or a good tripod to avoid blurring but it handles everything fromn closeups to distant stuff from near no light (shoot in the dark and hope) to full sun on snow. Many, many options and lots of suff to go with it as mentioned above. Dave
