Re: Fiberglass Pax 20

My two cents is to go ahead and build the boat as CLC intended. My Pax-20 was my first boat I built and I enjoyed every minute of it. I couldn't believe how well everything fix and went together so well. I paid no attention to shaving weight as I just wanted it strong. I don't know what it weighs in at, but it is fast. It glides so effortlessly through the water it barely leaves a wake. I don't race it, but paddle it most everyday in the iceless days, about 9 months in norther Michigan. It's three years old and after a light wet sanding each year and a new coat of varnish and paint,it looks better than new. It's fast to build too.
