Good note, Laszlo. Only one puzzlement: Roto-molded has LESS design freedom than S and G? Didn't understand that bit.
Admittedly our beloved S and G offers the designer higher performance, re strength/weight ratio. And infinitely easier of one-off production.
But alas, less design freedom. No non-developable surfaces; ie, no doubly curved surfaces. If a given tupperyak SOT is a bit heavy, it is because it is a tupperyak. But if it has a bad hull shape, and handles poorly, it is because it had a lousy designer who failed to exploit the freedom of the technology.
