I'd have to get the materials scientists to chime in on this on to be sure, but it may be a small msitake for CLC to enclose white line for the rudder lift line. From my days living in Florida (where I sure as heck wish I was living today) I remember the sailors down ther favoring using black lines for all running rigging, on the theory that black systhetic cordage retards UV degradation better than white.
