Great advice, Charlie.

I don't use straight-sided containers. Instead I use regular small plastic drinking cups for small batches (1.5, 3 and 4.5 oz. batches). I nicked my wife's small measuring cups and added measured amounts of water in three cups and marked the sides to indicate the different batch sizes at a 2-1 MAS mix ratio. These cups I then use to mark the actual mixing cups using my clinically-precise eyeball. Seems to work and the cups are cheap. If you can get poly cups, they often can be reused. I've also used the small paper cups (waxless). I particularly like the ones with the Pooh characters on them.

16 gallons of epoxy. Wow! That boat will be sailing long after we've all stopped paddling.
