It's too cold to do a conventional end pour. Before installing the deck and with the kayak horizontal, build a dam the height of the gunnel with a rigid, cut to fit closed cell foam. Seal with RTV or foam-in-place sealant and pour the epoxy. This not only makes it easier to limit the amount of weight in the pour, it locks in your floation.
