Re: Stitching and Such MC

MC13 builder here, reporting for duty!

Behold: a tale of two cities. In League City, I was reasonably comfortable that my panels were accurate, and so allowed the the stitched-up boat to assume whatever shape was dictated by them. In my case, I got some rocker, but never attempted to quantify it. In Seattle, Steve Miller noticed the rocker creeping in, and didn't believe it looked correct; so he put his hull in traction and proceeded with his build, ending up with a really truly flat bottom.

Today, both boats (well, all three boats, since I built two simultaneously) perform very well. Don't you just love a happy ending? Sniff, sniff... excuse me, I have something in my eye...

Cheers, Kurt

PS: Doug offers excellent advice as always, to wit: call CLC if you have serious doubts.
