I did check back on both Thule and Yakima, and still found their van specs lacking. However, Thule has the coolest gizmo coming out in the spring of 2005...the Hullavator. Load your kayaks at the side of your vehicle at waist high height, and then simply raise the whole thing to the roof top with the aid of springs, gas cylinders, rocket engines and nuclear power.

Gotta get me one of these.
