There are some great rivers to paddle on up here. How adventurous the rivers are depends upon the time of year. Water levels vary on most of them depending on snow melt or rain or drought. I've paddled most of the length of the North Saskatchewan River and have encountered just about everything a seakayaker could want for either WW or dead flat calm, all of it offering awesome experiences. There are quite a few rivers further north than I, which are sought after by folks from around the world because of the water and scenery. I haven't paddled more than the North Sask but then again, I've only been paddling for three years. Once I finish my cross-Canada tour on the North Sask then I'll turn my sights to other places.
