top for A. Wherry

built and row an Annapolis Wherry, lots of fun, on some long rows get into some heavy chop on South Shore of Long Island, considering building a top out of Okeume, detachable, that could be installed when anticipating heavier than normal seas, that would shed the water, before I start off on this route want to know if someone else out there has already gone there and might have some plans, any input appreciated, thanks and happy holidays
