Re: epoxy exposure

I've gotten that rash on my forearms on several occasions. It got to the point where I was wrapping my arms in saran wrap every time I used the epoxy. Let me tell you, long sleeve shirts with latex gloves and saran wrapped arms makes for sweaty work. But I didn't get any more reactions.

As far as I'm concerned you can't be too careful with this stuff. No matter how good your boat looks, it's not worth the health hazards of being careless with the epoxy.

Blow the fumes out, wear tyvek or latex or some other protective barrier on your hands and arms, and wear a respirator mask. Carcinogen or not, this stuff ain't good for you. Goggles are a good idea too, in my opinion.
