Second Witness

Someone who was watching the tidal rip activity e-mailed me with information on the currents. I'm taking the liberty to quote him below.

"Thought you should know that most of our group believe that the current around 3:00 pm on Saturday was closer to EIGHT knots than four. In fact that was why they were there; it was, if I remember correctly, the second highest current of 2004. And it was made even higher by the rain runoff. So you were there on a "good" day. The winds were fairly light, however, so the overall effect was not as "squirrelly" as it often is."
