Amount of epoxy needed

I am about to buy the epoxy and hardener for my Ches 17. CLC says you need 2.25 gallons of the stuff. Is this sufficient or should I add an extra quart of epoxy and pint of hardener for good measure? I am using MAS epoxy with a 2:1 ratio.
