ok,ok,,,using the tip of a foam brush to take out bubbles,,it's a fast way to use a roller to lay on an even coat then use gentle pressure of a 2" foam brush to take out the bubbles. In glassing the kayaks there's the "dump and squeegee" crowd or the "roll and squeegee" crowd. Either crowd is willing to tip.
There's cross-over in painting with "roll and tip" so you don't have to become an expert with a $60 Tibetan yak hair brush when applying paint or varnish. Actually I don't know if yaks make brushes.
