I remember making end pours, stood the thing up, propped in the fork of a tree and dribbled the stuff in. I don't think I have seen it more than once or twice since then in 3 years of paddling.

What's all the fuss about. Put the thing in the water and enjoy it. You people have way too much time on your hands. Start a new boat or something.
