Ice and Retirement

Your ice talk is making me rethink my plans for retirment in Buffalo. Maybe California isn't so bad.

What is a VJ?

Your suggestion of one inch deep epoxy along the knife edge of the bow and the stern (I guess starting where the fillet ends?) sounds very rational.

I always hope to run my boat up on sand but I know some of my beach landings will hit hard and big rocks.
