Great ideas - thanks guys. I quite like the bracket system that bolts onto the stern with two horizontal bolts. I have seen a preception version and a seaward version. It looks a little more sturdy than the pin down through the deck. Does anyone have expereince with these - good and bad points or a cheap place to get them!!

Also does anyone know of an online supplier that sells good kayak gear. I am looking for a rudder kit, foot pedals and two good quality paddles. Hopefully if I go through an online dealer I might save some bucks, and save some taxes!!
