Wood Question

On a recent trip to Boulter Plywood to buy some additional Okoume, I viewd some of their marine plywoods and was astounded by some. Not knowing much about wood, I wanted to run something by the experts on this forum. Ribbon cut Sapele is absolutely beautiful in my opinion. It is sold by the eighth or quarter inch 4 by 8 sheet. My question is...could I use this for a Ches. Lt. deck? Does it bend well? How about the ability to be covered with epoxy? I would use the regular Okoume for the hull. I would appreciate any all comments.
