epoxy coats

I am applying epoxy to the hull and it has filled the weave of the fiberglas over most of the hull but the keel area of the stern and bow are still not filled. Seems like it runs off from these areas. I have tried brushes, rollers, and squeegies applying the epoxy. Is there some trick to keeping the epoxy from running down the sides in the stern and bow areas? Thanks
