Hip foam + back band?????

Hey fellers_ I have installed the happy back band that comes with the kits, and with that all nice and good I am now putting in foam pieces for the hip braces (that will attach to the sides of the hull) and whoh! they are right where the design of the back rest connections are. Now how on earth do I deal with the two needing to be in the same place?
