Protecting your bottom
Posted by Michael Delchambre on Oct 28, 2004
The kayaks bottom that is. I live in San Antonio,Texas and around these lakes we don't have many if any sand beaches. The rocks here really scratch up the bottom of my Ches 17 and I was wondering if there is some kind of special paint or coating to keep this to a minimum. I'm also building a Skerry now and would like to use this same coating for it as well.
