You could always take the video player out to the garage and watch/build a SOF at the same time. My poor old CH16 is feeling rejected since I have finished my SOF. I have had it out once in the last month when normally it has been wet at least once a week.

The CH16 should get a work out over the Xmas holidays as I have a couple of multi day paddles planned.

I think comparing boats is a hard task as it depends what your intended use is. I think a stripper can be made to look a lot nicer than a S&G boat but all wooden boats look better than the prodiction plastic and fibreglass boats in my opinion.
