one of the frustrations of bending wood is that the curvature or bend does NOT continue to the end of a piece. in a stripyak i made, i cut the to be bent pcs to correct size thereby sealing my fate by having no or way less curvature right at the ends where in fact i wanted the curvature to slightly increase!!

so same for the deck ringnail issue. the way around would be to have large overhangs so curvature continues, possibly scrap 'sheerclamps attached to outside deck overhang and gluing rather than nailing so the curvature continues right out the the side panel. cut off and add nails if want the aesthetic.

i don't understand the deck beam side panel issue though.
