After the initial wet-out you should still be able to feel the weave. If it's smooth, then too much epoxy in that area. Maybe it "floated" a little bit. I'd sand a little, leave it and go on to the next coat if I could. Sand thru the glass and you'll have to apply more.

Warming up the epoxy (and wood) before mixing helps it flow better in this colder weather. Then let the temp fall to avoid bubbles.
