Interesting. Seems like, between the thinner and the 3 oz. of penetrol for 12 oz. of paint, you're getting very thin paint. Any problem with coverage? Or do you just resign yourself to doing a couple extra coats as a trade-off for the smooth finish?

I've used penetrol before in house paint and in some larger boat projects, and I do like the way it helps the paint flow. Maybe I'll drink some the next time I have a problem with regularity.
