It's been tucked away in the corner in pieces for a number of years and yes my wife is fantastic, she encouraged me to go ahead and build it without ever nagging. She's never once complained about it taking up space. The kayak followed me on a move 4 years ago where I used to have a large basement, great for doing this type of work. I should have built it then. When I'm finished with it I think she wants me to build her one and everyone who knows the saga of this boat is thinking "Oh god, please no!" I think I'll do it and the next one will turn out better...

OK, painting it is then, I already have the paint and that seems like less hassle anyway!
