Question on MC 13

Posted by Geoff McHarg on Oct 19, 2004

Hi all,

My wife and I are building a Mill Creek 13 (great boat!). We have wired together the hull, and are to the part where you trim the bow and stern sheer's so you can glue them together. On page 100 of the MC-13 manual, it shows using a screw to hold the bow pieces together.

I know its probably dumb, but I wanted to make sure that this screw comes out after the bow and stern have dried together--correct? I know this sounds dumb, but it does not say anywhere to take the screw back out. However I think it would be really hard to put a screw into the boat and not have it show once you are done.

Anyway after you get done laughing at this, please send along your thoughts.

thanks

mgm
