for the 2nd launch I installed the backband, had the footbraces adjusted farther out left my walletin the truck, all of this seemed to keep my legs and butt from going numb I paddled and fished for 1.5 hrs caught three bass and learned about how wind effects you 20-25mph gusts. the boat did wonderful,I live in the midwest and the lake I went to was about 160 acres, the water was 62 degrees. The only problem I encountered was now my 2 girls want kayaks!
