Intersting construction point, Laszlo, about the constant seam gap. I've suspected the same thing, particularly in flatter joints. In more angular joints, there seems to be a good amount of glue in the seam on the outside of the joint.

May be building a larger boat for the rocks of Nova Scotia someday, and I want a strong hull.
