Ok, I've read this somewhere, glue cut ends with super glue, hold together until dry, then put another layer of super glue over the splice & 1/2" onto the fabric, spread all the way around, then slip your shrinky-dink tube over the mess & heat as needed & you're done! I've done this on my boats & it works fine! Yee Haww! Doug Rhude
