Another approach to relieve anxiety is to draw the panels on cheap luan plywood. Trim and plane them until they are perfect. Even scarf and glue them to see if you have this technique down. Then, if you like your work, glue up some blank panels and trace the luan ones on them. Cut them out and plane or sand them to the size of the luan panels and voila! Perfect panels.

Or you can be brave and just draw the panels directly on the okume. But I would still glue up the full-length blanks and draw on them, if I were you.
