use a flat file

Posted by Howard on Oct 4, 2004

jahrome,

i have found that a flat file is an easy way to take off those 1/32 nubs without the risk of damage that you can do trying to sand them flush.

in my experience, trying to sand these nubs tended to rip up sand paper and also led to the occasional...more wood being removed than intended.

a flat file will take these off quick and easy and you will see exactly what you are doing.
