just want to be clear that i would not recommend changing the width of the bottom panel...so when you "trim" the width of the bulkeads you are just reducing the angle between bottom panel and the side panel (the boat will be slightly more slab sided - the side panels would be slightly more in the vertical) and that is the "minor" adjustment you would make to have the boat come in at 22 inches at max beam.
if you want to change the width of the bottom panels..not sure how that will ripple through the shape of other bits...
