I'm afraid it would crack again pretty soon. Since I'm not an expert I will give you my thinking, and you can see if you agree with it. In use there was enough stress there to crack the deck. After gluing, once you put the boat under the same use conditions, the repaired area will be stiffer, so the stress will be even higher in the neighboring wood. So it will crack even sooner.
