You are either one of the 1 or 2% who are sensitive, or you're not, is what I've read. If you are, then it is not necessarily cumulative. You can react the first or second time you are exposed. Just like any allergy. (Every mfg. formulates its own particular version of the hardener, so I have heard of people who are bothered by one brand but not another)
