Re: cheap white marine pa

The talk about using cheaper house paint on boats reminds me of my dear, departed Dad's penchant for using MAB porch & deck (or whatever else was in the garage) to paint boats on years when the college tuition checks for me and my six siblings where running a bit thick. The good old days.

Brings to mind the piece on Prairie Home Companion this week where Keelor is telling a much younger person how he laments George Harrison's death. So the young lady asks "were there three Beatles, or more?" Keelor sighs and says there were four, then segues into a story about a friend who could have been a carbon copy of Harrison. The young women asks: "what's a carbon copy? Is that like carbon dating?" Keelor sighs more deeply, pauses and responds "sort of."
