And when I went to an art store and asked about rice paper I got a two hour lecture on how "rice paper" is a misnomer and a complete rundown on all the variations, uses, and misuses of the numerous "oriental" papers. OY! Why do I always get the fanatic?

Although as far as I can recall (which is usually about two days) they never mentioned silky paper.
