The wife and I have had great success with the thermarest pads and the pool noodles.

Word to the wise: Don't leave the thermarest pads in the boat if you have a cockpit cover on it. It gets so hot the baffles inside the pad separate from the covers and you're left with a thermarest football. Still works, but not as comfortable (squishy).

and Brett Farvre will almost certainly refuse to autograph it.
