No solvents! Lots of water and a rag work fine. You are removing dust not try to disolve an old finish or clean a brush. When its all clean dry it off with a second clean rag or cloth.
Using solvents to wipe down a fresh varnish coat can cause problems with your next coat including bubbles. Also some laquer thinner is recycled and can contain residue that could interfere with the next coat.
I'd also stay away from tack rags.
